We refer to this favorite cat nap spot as “the nest” because the crappy cushion has formed into a little bowl that is just the right size for Barley. Sometimes, Champ squeezes herself in there with him. Sometimes, she’ll be in there when he wants to be and he chases her out. When Barley won’t share the nest, Champ sleeps in front of or on top of the red throw pillow.

I love this sign. We walk by it on our way to the grocery store, and every time I think “I need to go back and take a picture of that sign someday”. Until now. Because tonight, I was the crazy lady that took her camera to the grocery store.

Sunshine Break

Mustache
We got together with some friends at a local park and grilled up some lunch and then just hung out and ate Pete’s birthday cupcakes and relaxed. The weather was perfect for it. The cupcakes were delicious.
