Just walking to the T from work on New Years Eve! I liked this guys hat – so much more character than what you usually see in the freezing cold winter…but how is he not freezing his ears off?!

Eastern Market
I walked down to the post office to mail home some of my gifts so I wouldn’t have to worry about security at the airport and browsed through Eastern Market on my way back to Pat and Becky’s. I guess it’s not really browsing since its all cheeses, meats, fish, and produce and I was really just walking through to walk through with no intention of buying anything. I wish I had been there over a weekend so I could have REALLY browsed all the craft vendors for something fun to buy!

Road Cookie
Emily and I took the kids to see ICE at National Harbor. It was quite enjoyable after the FOREVER that we waited in line. Ben and Claire had treats for the ride home.

On the fence
We were all out playing soccer in the backyard when one of the neighbors let the dog out for some exercise. Ben and Claire Bear jumped up onto the fence right away to chat and talk about what Santa brought them.
