BPL

Was early for a meeting at the Copley branch of the Boston Public Library this morning and was happy to catch this glimpse of bright blue skies while I was exploring the building.

LOVE these guys

Love love love. Yup. First of all, they were singing Crazy Love when I walked onto the platform, which is a song I love. Second of all, I totally have a crush on my stripey friend on the right! I would have planted myself in front of them until my train came if Pete hadn’t been with me – it would have been worth not pre-walking.
Hilariously, after I took a few pictures and was walking away my stripey crush said “Will you post those somewhere? Like Flickr or something”. Here it is…hope you guys find this and say hi!

Red (Tailed) Hawk Down

Well, I’m pretty sure this is a red tailed hawk anyway. I came across him when I was walking back to the office after lunch. He was sitting like this on the corner of Water and Devonshire Streets, right in the middle of the financial district. He was alert – his little head was moving around – but he wasn’t reacting at all to the pedestrians walking within feet of him. I called Animal Control (love Google SMS, had the number within seconds!) and they had just dispatched someone out to pick him (her?) up. It was so cute just sitting there, I hope it was okay!

Windsor Button

I stopped at Windsor Buttonon the way home today to pick up some yarn. You know, because I made two things over the weekend, so I’m crafty now. Or so I tell myself. Time to get hooking!
