Tattoo Artist
Mom was sick for Christmas, so Emily and the kids and I went down to Bumpass to bring them their gifts and stockings and have lunch on Friday.
They have coloring books for the kids that came with temporary tattoos, and I was sent to give the kids which ever one they wanted. I tried twice and failed so poorly that we had to call in someone with more experience, and Dad was it…he’s definitely the tattoo artist in the family!

Daniel shoes
Ben got two pairs of these for Christmas, so now he gets to return one pair for a larger size so he’ll get to wear them even longer. Emily scammed me into buying shoes for both of the kids while we were at Target, even though I had finished their Christmas shopping before getting to VA. It turned out that Aunt Renita had bought the same shoes for Ben (but different ones for Claire).
Next time Emily tries to lure you into the shoe aisles at Target with promises of being “the best aunt ever”, just say no!
