Playground fun time!
I love Adele’s jacket. I kind of wish it came in my size.

Santa brought the kiddos cameras this year. As you can imagine, Christmas morning is incredibly well documented.
I don’t know what I love more about this picture – that Claire is already on board with the arms-length self portrait, or Ben’s little tongue sticking out while he concentrates!
**Please bear with me while I backpost and catch up on December!

That face is the one Dad makes when he’s trying not to cry.
Almost all of the family was together tonight to kick off holiday festivities with a dinner to celebrate Mom and Dad’s 40th Wedding Anniversary! Because their anniversary is two days before Christmas it tends to get swept under the rug and forgotten about, but you can’t let that happen for 40. You may remember the photos we had shot when we were all together in August – they were Mom and Dad’s anniversary gift this year (pulled together in an album for them, and of course all the images to print/use as they see fit).
Dinner was amazing – we went to Praline Bakery & Bistro and I can’t recommend it enough. The service was some of the best I’ve ever seen. The food was delicious. They even offer a perfect kids menu. Dessert…well, “Bakery” comes first in their name, so I’m sure you can imagine that if the food is delicious, the dessert was even better!

I didn’t do very well on my Fall 2011 list – I was expecting a slower, quieter fall and that didn’t quite happen. Surprisingly, I’m not feeling even the teeniest bit of guilt or sadness about that, because it was still a pretty great few months! You can click through the link above to see how it all played out, or you can just move on to the current season. :)
I thought I was being lazy with a shorter list this time around, but then I saw that my fall list was only eight items as well and felt a whole lot better about it. ;) Hopefully I’ll have a better record at the end of this season!
As usual, let me know if you want to join me for any of these. Here’s to an amazing winter!
